As per (IS:2720 Part XI and XII) for determining the shear strength parameters of saturated soils from triaxial compression shear tests conducted under consolidated undrained conditions with measurements of pore water pressures. The Triaxial Test System provides triaxial compression tests on cylindrical undisturbed and remolded soil samples. Unconsolidated undrained (UU), consolidated drained (CD) and consolidated undrained (CU) compression tests can be carried out using this apparatus. Supplied complete with Triaxial cell for 38mm dia specimen, Multi speed Loading Frame 50 KN with Load Cell, Pore Pressure Transducer, LVDT, Air/Water Constant Pressure system with air compressor. To work on 220/230 Volts, single phase, AC power supply. De-airing system with vacuum pump, Automatic Volume change gauge, Three Cell Saturation Device, wall mounted. Split Molds, Three Part split Molds, Sample extractor etc. can be quoted on request. Further details as per the following pages.

Universal Electromechanic Test Machine is a Servo Controlled Multiplex Machine supplied complete with 50 kN Load Cell, 25 mm Linear Potentiometric Transducer and Data Acquisition and Control Unit. 5 kN Loadcell should be ordered separately for Triaxial Tests.

The Frame capacity is 50 kN. This versatile digital loading frame features a microprocessor controlled drive system with an advanced servo motor enabling the operator to easily set any test speed Screen Touch Indicator. Rapid approach reverse and forward button.

Triaxial Cell:

The cell is useful for testing 38mm dia x 76mm high soil specimen. Transparent Perspex chamber with anvil and loading plunger, the cell is easily opened by releasing four nuts of the tie rods. It is leak proof up to 10kg/cm.sq. Fluid pressure. An oil plug which can also be used as an air vent is provided for introducing a thin layer of oil over water. This provides effective sealing at the plunger for long duration tests. The cell is fitted with four sleeve packed valves of no volume change type on the base. These valves are used for cell pressure, pore water pressure, drainage or back pressure. The loading plunger of the cell has dial gauge rest.

Lateral Pressure Assemble

The apparatus consists of a pressure chamber which has a flanged top cap fitted with a 10 kg/cm2. Pressure gauge and a valve for pumping in air. Water inlet and drain cock are fitted to the chamber.
