Thee equipment comes equipped with the programmable digital counter which enables the machine to stop when the number of blows is preset. To suit the requirements, the rammers height as well as the weight can be adjusted. The drop weight can be adjusted to approx 300 mm, while the drop height can be adjusted to the 450 mm. The rammer is circular faced with is 50 mm diameter and is adjustable to 2.5 kg. or 4.5 kg as required.

The compactor also features automatic blow pattern which allows for the compaction of each layer as the rammer moves along the mould. The mould is rotated by the table in measured steps, where the quantity of the blows is set during initial stage of the test by the digital counter. The Automatic Soil Compactor also comes fitted with the in-out distribution along with the user defined blow number. A CBR switch/standard proctor along with the stop and start push buttons for any emergency are placed near the blow counter.
